Donated to Key Largo in 1965, this is a memorial for all who have lost their lives at sea.  This iconic statue is located in a beautiful section of the undersea John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park & is one of our most famous sites visited by snorkelers and scuba divers from around the world. Become fascinated by many of the 1400 species of vibrant corals, plants & tropical fish on a guided exploration through this incredibly beautiful ecosystem. 

 

The statue depicts Christ's offering of peace. As the top of the statue is only 11 feet underwater it is easily accessible by most novice snorkelers. This makes this particular site a perfect location for snorkeling.
